Prof. Herbert Hsiao, founder of Pulxion Medical Technology and professor at National Taiwan University, leads a dedicated team committed to advancing cardiovascular technologies. The team was selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology for the “Value Creation Programs for Start-up Teams in Universities (VCPSTU) in 2019, receiving funding for one and a half years. This effort was complemented by the resources provided by the Taiwan Startup Institute (TSI) accelerator. In 2020, Pulxion was officially founded with the mission to advance this novel technology towards commercialization. In 2021, Pulxion achieved recognition as one of the 'Top 100 Startups in Taiwan' by CES and ranked among the 'Top 10 Startups in Taiwan' by Silicon Valley's StartupCity magazine. Throughout 2022, global media recognition followed, including coverage from US News. As of Q3 2023, angel funding was successfully secured, and the core management team was established, positioning the company for strategic partnerships and investor engagement to power future growth.
